Loss of audio outputs when using Roku wireless speakers - Anyone know a workaround?
Since purchasing Roku wireless speakers for my TCL Roku TV a couple years ago, I have been unable to receive audio from any other outputs on the TV. I understand this was intentional, but in my case it's an accessibility issue. My wife hears (heard) the television through her hearing aids via Surflink, which receives the television audio (optical, cable, rca) output and broadcasts the sound to her hearing aids.
Since the lack of an audio output is distressing to many of us for a variety of reasons, I'm writing now to ask if anyone has found or developed a workaround for this problem. I've asked Roku, and my pleas fall on deaf and insensitive ears.
