My Insignia Roku TV screen went nearly black while watching it. I have tried resetting by unplugging, but no improvement. Anyone else run in to this problem? TV is not even 5 years old.

That sounds like the backlight has failed. It doesn't really have anything to do with the TV being a Roku TV. All LED TVs are prone to it. It's something that can be fixed, but unless you can do it yourself it's probably not worth doing.
