(There are some mirroring/casting/remote usage scenarios that may have misled you to this conclusion)
Regardless, do a factory reset if you feel so compelled: Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Factory reset
(That will unlink it from your account and reset its configuration, and you'll need to activate/set it up again)
