So I plug my TCL Roku into my computer via HDMI1 and use it as a second display and it works fine. The problem is when I turn off the TV using the remote control, Windows still detects it as a display and the result is when I move my mouse through the edge of the laptop's screen, the mouse pointer goes to the TV screen although it is off.
I try to disable "Enable fast TV start" but my laptop still detects the TV as connected (right click on desktop > Display settings...). My question is how to really turn the TV off without removing the HDMI cable or unplugging the TV?
TCL 43S423 running Roku 9.3.0 build 4194-93.
Thanks!
Try going to settings> system> control other devices(CEC)> uncheck 1-touch play box.
Thanks for the response. It was never checked.
