How to fix terrible noise from soundbar after shutting off TV

I have a ROKU Model 100002421.  When I shut off my TV the soundbar emits a loud buzz that can only be stopped by totally unplugging the bar or turning the TV back on.  I've tried setting for both the soundbar and TV yet nothing works.  HELP!
