Re: How to fix Roku Streambar Audio issue and buzzing

Hello! @r77morris,

Thank you for posting here in the Roku Community!

We appreciate your contacting us regarding the buzzing sound issue with your Roku Streambar. We are pleased to assist you.

system restart is the least invasive reset method. Follow the instructions below to perform a system restart from the Settings menu.

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote

  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart

In either case, your Roku device will complete a system restart and hopefully return to normal operation after a moment.

If your Streambar is connected to your TV's HDMI ARC port, there could be a delay before you start to hear audio when the TV is turned on. This delay is caused by your TV setting up the audio stream channel through the HDMI ARC port. You can get rid of this delay by connecting your Streambar to the optical port and regular HDMI port on your TV instead.

Thanks,
Arjiemar
