I just got a brand new Sharp roku tv 40 in from best buy just to have something to play my ps4 on. The ps4 works on other TV at friend's homes. However every time i turn it off and on (both the tv and ps4) when i go to the hdmi port it's connected to it displays the "no signal (is it on?)" Error message. How do I fix this without having to just return the tv for another?

Have you tried using another HDMI port on your TV to see if that resolves the issue?
Have you tried contacting Sharp support yet to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support for their products running the Roku OS.
