Hi: i tried to hook the roku Express to my vizio tv. The tv needed a better connection so i took the yellow ethernet cord hooked one end into our directv box and then one in the internet box from cox.

I sccaned  channels. Mine didnt come up so i. Clicked private and i entered the ssid code and then my password. It still didnt work. Idk what else to do im so frustrated with this

It sounds like your Roku Express isn't connected to your wifi. Please be advised that your device only supports wireless internet connection, therefore, we recommend following the steps available in this Support link: How to connect your Roku device to the internet using Wi-Fi or Ethernet
