For the past three weeks the HULU app on the RokuRoku Smart Soundbar is not working. The app will open, but when I click on any content I get an error message saying it is not available.
I have deleted and reloaded the app. I have updated the software to the latest version. Went through a whole list with the HULU people to later be told just check every couple of days.
I am able to access HULU directly through the Roku TV, just not through the Roku Smart Soundbar
Is there a solution I am missing here? Is there a new update for the app on the way?

Hi @jptheriot
Thanks for posting here in the Community.
Did you restart your Roku Soundbar before re-installing the Hulu channel? That step is crucial when performing the troubleshooting. If you haven't tried the suggested order (remove > restart > re-install), we suggest giving it a shot once again.
We also recommend restarting the soundbar from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > System restart > Restart.
Let us know how it goes!
All the best,
Kariza
Check for a Roku system update. If your problem is only with the Hulu channel, this step may have no effect, but it's best to make sure your device is up to date. Go to Settings> System, check if there is a system update, and if so, please install.

I also have the Roku Sound Bar and the Hulu app keeps crashing on it for me. It just crashed back to the main Roku screen. Doesn't seem to crash on Apple TV receiver though. Anyone else experiencing this?
Try deleting the app, restartring the Soundbar, and then reloading the app. In that order!! I have the original Roku Smart Soundbar and Hulu plays just fine.
Thanks for the post.
In addition to what @Tivoburkee suggested, we would recommend checking for a channel update to see if that helps. You can update the channel by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button > Check for update.
Please keep us posted what you find out.
Thanks,
Danny
I did update the channel. I’m keeping my eye on it now, to see if it crashes again.
