So I know that gaming on a tv usually has input lag and I know the fix is game mode to fix or improve that, but it isn’t working for me and I’ve already reset the Roku and it’s still not allowing me to enable it

Have you tried using other modes on your TV to see if that resolves the issue you are experiencing? In addition, are you make sure to use a high speed cable to connect your gaming device?

Yeah thanks, I’m guessing it was a malfunction or a glitch of some sorts because I left it alone and tried a day afterwards and it worked
