Fuzzy Audio/Low Volume

I sleep with my Roku on, usually at volume 1 or 2. Very low at night, but still can hear it.

Anyway, woke up this morning and tv was off. After turning it on and heading to Hulu, I pressed play on a show and the audio is super fuzzy on volume 1 and 2. Sounds like everyone is both underwater and rustling through leaves at the same time, it's weird.

What's weirder, the issue disappears on volume level 3 and up.

I did a system update and it did not fix this issue.

I've unplugged tv, I've searched through every possible setting. Just annoyed that this issue happened while completely untouched overnight.

Re: Fuzzy Audio/Low Volume

Hi @Ryandan098

Thanks for letting us know about the issue you're experiencing.

Please answer the following questions so we can get a better understanding of what you are

seeing:

  1. Does the issue only occur on a specific channel or across the channels installed on your device?
  2. Are you using an A/V receiver or soundbar with your TV/Roku player setup? If so, what is the make/model of that unit?
  3. In Settings > Audio > Audio mode, what setting do you have selected? Does the same issue occur if you change the setting to Stereo, etc.?

Moreover, if the issue only happens on Hulu, removing the channel then adding it back in may help. You can visit this Support article for detailed instructions on how to do it: How do I resolve channel playback issues?

We hope to hear from your soon.

All the best,
Kariza
