Connect Android phone with roku wireless speakers

I don't have my Roku TV anymore but do have Roku wireless speakers.  I'm not able to bluetooth into roku speakers with my android phone.  Do I have to have a Roku remote? These are good speakers, really want to use them.

I think you have to have some kind of Roku device to pair them with before you can pair a Bluetooth device.  They don't respond to any kind of remote.  It's the UI in the Roku device that controls them.
