I canceled a subscription for a channel, but I still have a couple weeks left on my term. Problem is I accidentally accidentally removed the channel too. I want to be able to re-download so I can use til the subscription time is up but Roku is saying I need to pay to add the channel. Will I be double charged if I add the channel?
For the most part, you can cancel a subscription at any time and use the subscription up to the date of renewal. (since there is no pro-rating, generally.)
As such, you "should" be able to reinstall the Channel/app, login/enter your credentials and continue to watch until your subscription expires. (Just don't click on anything to re-enter your billing info or anything that extends your subscription.)
Whelp, it looks like I’m out of luck then. I’m required to enter billing info to re download the channel.
Try and contact the Channel developer.
