Can't cast from Win 11 to Roku 4200X

I have screen mirroring set to Always on the Roku 4200X. When I go to Win 11 Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Add a Device > Wireless Display or Dock the Roku 4200X is not listed. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Re: Can't cast from Win 11 to Roku 4200X

Hi, @Bazsl

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand the troubles you have encountered with screen mirroring from your desktop to the Roku device. I'm here to help.

Let's try the steps below!

Prerequisites:
  1. Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. On your Roku TV: Go to Settings > System > Screen Mirroring.
  3. Set "Screen Mirroring Mode" to "Prompt" or "Always Allow".

How to screen mirror from a Windows 11 computer

Use the following steps to connect your Windows 11 computer to your Roku streaming device and start screen mirroring.

  1. On your computer keyboard, press Win + K to open Quick Settings
  2. Click Connect to a wireless display
  3. Select your Roku device from the list of wireless display devices to start the connection
  4. Follow the instructions on your Roku device to allow screen mirroring

If you have issues connecting to a wireless display on your Windows device, contact Microsoft support for help.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Roku Community Team.
