Can i pair Roku Stick with Roku Steambar?

Jump to solution

I've got Roku Premiere (3920X) connected to projector. I would like to buy soundbar, but I don't want use cables. My Projector doesn't have any wireless connectivity.

Can I pair my Roku stick with Roku Streambar through WiFi connection? I can use my mobile phone app for Private Listening and as remote control (through WiFi). I'm wonder if I can use the same for pair stick with Steambar?

Thanks,

Maciej

@Maciek

Thanks for the inquiry.

The Roku Premiere will not connect to another device wirelessly as it only connects through the HDMI port. If you are considering purchasing a Roku Streambar, you will not need another Roku device connected to it, as it has a built in Roku device inside the Streambar.

Thanks,

The app doesn't use IR or Wifi, it uses IP the internet. Which all roku have to be connected to.
