Brand New TV Remote Doesn't Work

literally bought the last RCA roku tv from a local store today and the remote is completely useless, my sister came over with hers so we could at least set up the tv so I could setup the app on the phones, been getting the runaround from support because the remote has a 2YEAR WARRANTY from factory defects and the like but apparently I have to call rca because the support here doesn't replace them despite it being their warranty in the first place. and the number they give you gives a friggin run around about having to e-mail something that doesn't even sound like a thing in order to have some dialog about a replacement.... all I want is someone to either lead me in the right direction to get a replacement under warranty and not all the **bleep** bs about oh, u can either return the whole unit to the store (tv works like a dream the remote is the only issue and my mother in law babysits and we need a REMOTE

Please contact your TV's manufacturer directly to report this issue and request additional support. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS. 

If you need a replacement remote for a Roku TV, you would need to contact your TV manufacturer. You can contact RCA here: https://www.rca.com/us_en/television-4-us-en/customer-support-396-us-en or at 1-800-968-9853.

You can also purchase a remote that is compatible with your Roku TV here: https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/roku-tv
