Apple Mac mini Bluetooth connection to Streambar

My Mac mini has the latest software in macOS Monterey version 12.0.1   The problem is it's Bluetooth used to work just fine with my Roku Streambar 9102R.  But now there's audio trouble, mostly when I use the Friendly Streaming app. I'd be watching a video, then I'd go and rewind a section to see it again-and the audio cuts out. I mute the player's audio and the sound returns for a half-second after I unmute it before it goes out again. It used to perform just fine.  The mini is just inches away from the Streambar.  Now I constantly have to the sound preferences on the mini and deselect and reselect the Streambar to get the sound back. Then when I pause or rewind a video, the sound goes out again, even though the Bluetooth preferences still indicates connected. What should I do? I think I may have caused it by forgetting that I'm using the computer and trying to control it using the Streambar's remote, but is there anything else?

I'm not quite following everything. What's the Mac Mini got to do with things. Are you watching TV through the Mac Mini and using the Streambar simply as a sound system for the Mac?

I’m using the Streambar as a sound system for the Mac. But audio goes out when I use the Friendly Streaming app that lets you stream without using a web browser. Just wanted to use the Streambar as a Bluetooth speaker. It does well when I stream Apple Music.

I'm wondering if when you're using Apple Music, if the app is connecting to the Streambar via AirPlay 2 and not Bluetooth via the Mac Mini.

What other apps work well, and which ones don't?

It's connected via Bluetooth. Not AirPlay. Problems arise when I use the Friendly Streaming app. The audio cuts out after one second and doesn't come back in except when I deselect sound preference to the built-in speakers on the mini, then reselect the Streambar. Then when I watch a scene and rewind it if I miss something, the sound cuts out and stays out until I do the aforementioned sound selection. It didn't use to do that.
