When the 10.5 upgrade was installed on my Soundbar, it disabled the headphone output on my Ultra Remote and the app on my smartphone. Both worked before. I have submitted the requested information to Danny for a fix.
Haven't seen anything on this but since the 10.5 update I haven't been able to use the private listening function with Bluetooth headphones. Every time I tried (4 different devices) to use it the sound is digitally static making the dialog unintelligible. I even tried the new function to fix the lag, but that did nothing. Also, went social media looking for help or answer and got nothing back. Anyone know if this being addressed or a rollback is being offered?
Thanks for the post.
Can you please clarify your inquiry? Are you using the Roku Soundbar to stream your content or your Roku Ultra device? How is everything connected?
With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
Roku Soundbar connected to TV through HDMI cable. Internet connection to soundbar by WIFI. I am only using the Ultra remote to control the soundbar and plug in headphones to listen to soundbar output. It has been working perfectly until the upgrade. Also, I use the Roku app and bluetooth to connect with the audio interface for my hearing aids. This, too, has worked perfectly until the upgrade. It seems that the upgrade disconnected the actual sound from the headphone audio out.
Thanks for the post.
We're trying to investigate the issue further, what are they trying to watch when private listening is not working? Are you streaming a channel from the Roku or some other source from the TV to the ARC on the Roku Soundbar?
With more detailed information, we will be able to look into the issue further.
Thanks,
Danny
