Hi,

I have roku 2 and roku 3, i want to know these both devices support which format H.264 or HEVC, and which one is better from both of them for playing videos on roku devices.

Re: roku support H.264 or HEVC

Are you playing Videos off USB? If so, there is a large discussion over here on that viewtopic.php?f=28&t=36754 (Video Encoding for the USB Channel)

Are you streaming the files? If so, take a look here. https://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc ... Guidelines

Re: roku support H.264 or HEVC

You should use H.264.

Roku supports both H.264 and H.265, but the HEVC H.265 is supported by Roku 4K capable devices only, such as Roku 4, Roku Premiere, etc. For your Roku 2 and 3, H.264 will be better. See Roku HEVC support here.
