Traversing components hierarchy

Hi,

Suppose, I have an hierarchy of components

"C" extends "B", which extends "A".

Is it a way based on a given instance of "C" to know what component it extends and what component its extended component extends?
Alternatively, if they implemented a method that returned this information, is it a way to call the "base" component's method?

Thanks,

Re: Traversing components hierarchy

Well, it is pretty simple:

ContentNode has the parentSubtype() method that does exactly, what is needed.
