Setting a grid screen with multiple image sizes

Hi,

I have seen over the last several months some channels that display a grid screen view and set the top row with a different style or image sizes versus the rest of the rows in the same grids screen.

Does anyone have an example how to set different styles or image sizes in the same grid screen?

An example would be a screenshot here...http://thewirecutter.com/wp-content/uploads/netflix.jpeg
