News Flash. I came to the conclusion there is no customer relations anymore. One is more or less dependent on a third party manufactoter licensing Roku technology for any real assistance. At least it seems like this to me.
You've hit it right. They WON'T get it through their thick skulls. Just email back and forth, and only if you are lucky will you get an intelligent response.
Roku is not the only company to stop phone operations because of the pandemic. My biggest concern is that they will never resume phone support after the virus is over.

the link you provide to get billing support requires an email account and password. My particular issue is that the email account is not mine - it appears to be the address of the person who set up the account for me (the Roku person on the phone). I cannot even get into my own account. I have numerous charges which I did not authorize and need to stop this. What is the solution.

Roku does not set up user accounts for customers over the phone. You most likely contacted a scam support site, and they have control over your account. Send a private message to @RokuDanny-R with your account information and he can try to assist. This sort of discussion needs to be private, as you don't want your personal information posted here on a public forum.

To make it simple the kind people at Roku, who used to be very responsive have made the 1-800 number simple, and made it 1-800-We don't care
Could I please get the customer service number!!!!!!??????
