There’s no web browser for Roku devices, so not much value in a web search tool. Your tv has a basic browser.

@BeagleGuy68 what precisely is the issue you're having? What model Roku do you have (model number, not name)? Have you removed the channel, rebooted your Roku, then installed the channel again? The reboot is critical and cannot be skipped.

Have tried  uninstall, reboot multiple times. Model 9101R2 Stream bar Pro which replaced The Ultra I had been using.  Today Pandora stopped opening as well.

OK. Roku seems to have a problem with some of the Streambars, so hopefully the get it resolved soon. YouTube itself is working fine on all of my Roku devices, so I don't think it's the channel itself, unless it's something specific with the Streambar hardware. Sometimes a device reset will clear things like this up, but I hesitate recommending that. It's a bit of work to set everything back up after a hard reset.

Re: Update to our customers: We've agreed to a multi-year extension w/ Google for YouTube + YouTube

From what you and others I agree it is not a Youtube problem.  Question is, with millions of subscribers,  does Roku have incentive to devote time to solving individual problems?

Re: Update to our customers: We've agreed to a multi-year extension w/ Google for YouTube + YouTube

Are there reports of Streambar Pro problems with Youtube suddenly failing to launch?  Others reported happening after latest update.  I have other Roku devices and also have same problem.

Yes I have done the critical step to which you mentioned, and it did not solve problem.  Has Roku identified why problem occurred in the first place?

Re: Update to our customers: We've agreed to a multi-year extension w/ Google for YouTube + YouTube

I had an online chat today regarding YouTube problems.  Lisa said that customer service would help me if I provided  them specific information about my device.  Instead I get suggestion to try same old uninstall, reinstall option, and problem must be with YouTube.  YouTube is working for many if not most users, but not for everyone.  Never asked me for the info that was supposed to get to the bottom of the problem.  Never provided me with accurate way to contact YouTube,  It just seems strange that YouTube disappears when it was working. Mine disappeared after update went in December 13.  Others have said this as well.  Something changed to cause this when it happens. Why does YouTube not work when installing app, when one can install pretty much any other app and they work just fine. What causes this app to behave differently?  Why would Google/YouTube be working for many, and yet be told that provider somehow has a problem supplying my channel?  Again how can YouTube channel be this sporadic in it’s function?  They have told others that the problem is not with them.  Their signal is going out as promised.  This problem  has me stumped.   I truly love this system.  I have the wireless speakers.  They are superb.  I just am perplexed as to how to solve what should a easy to solve problem.  Is there anything techs can do from their end to fix settings within the device itself.  As it is, I will try to find a way to contact YouTube/Google if I can find a way to actually reach their customer service.
