I for one, am sending positive thoughts your way for all of Roku's wonderful supportive staff & investors during this trying time.
Stay with us, please!
Don't panic about it. Even worst case, it wouldn't hurt Roku all that much, certainly not enough to shut them down. Plus, it has been announced that all accounts will be 100% funded, even if above $250K.
I am happy to hear all of this news. Though it is now almost a week since this event happened, I am not very sure the worst has passed completely quite yet. My parents were survivors of the 1930s Depression. They were traumatized for the rest of their lives. This included my dad's family losing their family farm and later he being pushed out of what was left of the family at age 15 to wander the country for 10 straight years-all alone and broke.
I hope this positive confidence of the banking system continues forward. So no one else has to be left out like dad was.
The FDIC was created in 1933 as a result of that. Hopefully, it will continue to function as designed.
Agree. Hobos-as dad was one in those long ago days-have been extinct for some time now. I don't wish this lifestyle to come back in any form ever again.
