Roku removing all mentions of Rebranded Morality in Media

Looks like roku is removing every mention of the rebranded Morality in Media getting them to ban porn by removing private channels.

They are hiding their own censorship.

Re: Roku removing all mentions of Rebranded Morality in Media

Roku's removal of non-certified channels had nothing to do with censorship. Because of abuse of the system, Roku shut them all down. Porn was only one result, as there were many others from the opposite side of the spectrum.

Re: Roku removing all mentions of Rebranded Morality in Media

It was a direct result of a pressure campaign from the rebranded Morality in Media. Something they bragged about.

Removing private channels is how they enacted the porn ban and the fact it effects others doesn't change the fact porn is banned.

To be clear people who want porn banned believe porn is banned.  People who don't want porn bannned think it's banned. No one can install a porn app from any provider on roku .

If porn was banned the situation would be exactly the same.

Then we get people like you saying "well actually ". When people who care about the issue all agree what happened on the pro and anti porn side.

Roku is a publicly traded company.  It is not obligated to show you porn.
