Roku SE streaming device is zoomed in. It happened over a year ago and fixed it following online guide. Now it's back but this time it's affecting the apps. I can't see any of the menu items on Hulu and Youtube doesn't fit on-screen properly. Pls help!
Have you tried changing your display type to 720p (even if tv is 1080p) in Roku Menu.
SETTINGS...DISPLAY TYPE...720pTV....OK...YES LOOKS GOOD (if fixes)
Then SETTINGS...SYSTEM RESTART (just good to do after changing any Roku Settings)
Or, may seem silly, if you are using a seperate remote (not the Roku remote) did you accidently enable ZOOM or STRETCH MODE?
Thanks for your help Gunnar. You were correct when you suggested checking TV settings for zoom.
TLDR: This time with everything (meaning all the apps) being zoomed in it was the TV settings. I am using an old tv because the new one isn't working. Same brand (LG) the newer one has a button on the remote that says 'live zoom' the replacement remote does not...remotes also look almost identical, but the button on the replacement says 'q settings' I think. Once you press that there is an option to change screen ratios, auto-detect and ....zoom. The first time after setting to auto-detect I went back to Roku and set it to let it also auto-detect and then reset the Roku. The first time it did not work so the first thing I checked was the TV settings and it was back on zoom. After a bit I got them both set to auto-detect and everything is back to normal. I initially bypassed the zoom troubleshooting step b/c I didn't think this TV had it, but then remembered most of the buttons on the newer remote work for the replacement tv and then the live zoom button came to mind and my kid pressing buttons and asking what they did. So again thank you!

Thanks for reply. I gave setting to 720p a go but no luck. I've actually tried almost everything else I've seen suggested online. Is there a way to directly contact Roku support. Is there a live person available? Also now thinking back I may or may not have been using screen mirroring around the time this happened.
Live person around? Thats a good one.
I think a mod Danny may roam around these forums from time to time. He is prob your best shot if there is something that can be done from Roku's end.

Glad it worked for you. Thanks for the update. It's always nice when someone posts back so it can help others having a similar issue.
Sidenote... how come the kids are always blamed for fiddling with the buttons?
