I've been waiting and asking for years for them to support their voice command in my country. Apparently, they only support it in only a few locations region. They should have at least had the decency to post a big ass disclaimer about it. And to think that it was my driving point to choose Roku.

Being supported on not even 10 locations. This disclaimer shouldn't be buried in the support pages. This only proves that Roku is hiding it because they can't even get the support to a generally acceptable number and call it a major feature?
Disappointing still.

I'm not hiding or burying it or calling it a "major feature" - I'm not Roku nor do I work for them.

Regardless it wasn't hard to find, being the first result when searching Support and the third result searching Google for "Roku voice".

Had you read the box your Roku came in, you would have seen: "channels can change and vary by country" along with "third party voice assistant support may change" - both of which should have given you pause/reason to do some checking before purchasing about app and feature availability in the Philippines - but you either chose not to read the box, or chose to ignore it - that's on you.

Again, not sure why you didn't verify your "driving point" for getting a Roku, before getting your Roku - that's not on Roku, that's on you.

You also kept your Roku after buying it and discovering it lacked the functionality you primarily got it for that you chose not to research beforehand - that's also not on Roku, that's on you as well.

You say you've been "waiting for this feature for years", but your account is only 2 months old, and only posted your complaint 2 months ago - considering this is the supposed reason you got your Roku years ago, it's very odd you waited years later to complain for the first time - that's not on Roku, that's on you.

Finally, the real reason you argue it's not a "major feature" is because you dont have access to it, and want it - not that Roku themselves ever made any such claim - again that's not on Roku, that's on you.

Ultimately, you need to accept your responsibilities as a consumer and stop projecting them onto Roku - there are plenty of competing products with voice services, you should try one and see if it has the same geographical limitations.

Did I say that you are involve in hiding it deep in their support pages? But you got to admit, not putting this info as a disclaimer (or an incorporated *) in the actual product page means that they are hiding this huge limitation. 

Also, did you ever think that I may have other account and have already inquired about this years before, as to which they claim to be "working on it", which is why I said I waited patiently and impatiently as years and years passed by. 

I didn't mind it at first that's why this is not my first Roku, but after years of waiting, the faith in their promise of "working on it" just dies down.

Re: the trashed audio - We're talking about something that worked fine and stopped working after a firmware 'update' . That's not the user's fault, it's Roku. In spite of dozens of complaints, they haven't even acknowledged the problem, let alone fix it. That's a big middle finger to the user.

So do you think they will refund a unit I bought a year ago because it worked fine before they broke it with their last firmware update?

We're not talking about defective hardware, it's defective firmware. All they have to do to fix the USB audio problem is to locate where the change was and either fix it or roll it back to where it was before V10. But instead they ignore it. That's a huge FY to it's users.

And as such, we have no right to complain? HA! Keep it coming..

I own three Roku TVs, a soundbar,  and a subwoofer.  Currently, I have no problems on my devices. I recommend Roku if anyone asks me or if no one asks me for a recommendation, I mention Roku all the time to people. Any problems that I had in the past were intermittent, fixed by restarting my equipment or with the latest update to OS 10 and the firmware upgrade.

If you don't make warranty claim with in a year that is your fault. One of my devices is no longer under warranty if that device craps out I will have to buy a new TV.
