Trashing Roku does not solve any problems. Keeping a cool head and outlining
your problems herein helps the community help you. Its easy to get frustrated and cheap and
easy to Blame Roku but really isnt accomplishing anything aside from venting frustrations.
If anything were perfect we could all die because there is nothing to strive for.
These rants are vexing to the spirit. Everyone likes the idea of being cool.
Post later if you must and be coooooooooooool in life. It really isnt that important. Please.
Well when you can't get support & are not able to watch your TV because the remote went bad (only had this for 60 days), you talked to Roku by email, they send you a new one & you've been thru everything to get the **bleep** to work & they are not helping! They can't call you because of the situation, I guess they don't have phones, LMAO!! I do lose my cool!!
Its not just you. Too many people default to taking their frustrations out on Roku mindlessly.
It never solves anything and only serves to make your frustrations worse.
I don't blame people for trashing them & being frustrated. We pay good money for their product, it's not working & you can't get adequate help. They say because of the virus they only email, chat or community, because there employees are working from home!! LOL I guess they don't have phones at home!! LOL plus I have yet to see an options to chat!! Now they are not even answering emails! Pathetic
When it comes to trashing and bashing behavior, people resort to such low levels when it comes to the pocketbook. Or no one likes to be treated less than how they expect to be!
I will stop TRASHING roku if they fix this thing!!! Get it fixed!
I’m not trashing anyone. I want some dang help! I’ve been through two Rokus and have same issue. I can’t get ANY help.
Well good luck! You would be better off going with something else! Roku will not help you! Once my number 2 roku dies I am don't with this trashy outfit!
@Stephen1396 You havent made any other posts. why wouldnt you simply lay your problems out
and ask for help? The truth seems to be you dont know how to ask for help.
Why trashing/bashing Roku is so rampant and even increasing is. simple: frustration!
All the important ingredients are present right here. No more easy popular means of direct communication (I.e working call center, Chat, brick & mortar physical stores, and the like) to field problems and concerns. Game playing or even ignored when app availability is denied during multi-company many spats. And worse of all, not even acknowledging the customer's own financial concerns involving the Roku products & services.
Then providing a user friendly (the seemenly only serious option here) online forum to showcase all of the above and what do you have? Proudly showcasing Roku's dirty laundry. I bet there isn't anyone here that does not like to read all those trashy gossip rags at the supermarket checkout line.
