Agreed. I'm not interested in contributing here if I'm stuck with this graphic. They shouldn't be automatically assigned. I'd rather have no graphic at all.
No, still not fixed.
Bringing this to the attention of Roku employees @RokuDanny-R & @RokuKariza-D -- again.
Roku, would you please remove the current avatar you have assigned to my profile. This is an image of a skull face which I find disrespectful and intimidating. The purpose of avatars is for an image to represent users and this must be done to their liking, which is not happening.
I would also request an option to modify/amend one’s screen name.
Thank you.
I know this is really non essential and mostly utter nonsense, but I had to ask. When I attempt to change my avatar by selecting "Avatar" in my settings, I get re-directed to the login page. Is this because I am a "newbee" or are we having website issues. This really doesn't matter because I really don't care if my avatar is blue or green.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the posts.
We are currently investigating this issue that is affecting the ability to change the avatar in Community, and once the information is available, we will make sure to update the Community.
All the best,
Irene

Well, my avatar is a pig. Not happy about that one either.
I am not that happy with my shark, but looking and some of the others, I guess I was really lucky.
Yaaaaaaa, just remove the Vampira Queen of the Darkness Avatar assigned me, please. Kinda creepy.
Same here.
This seems like an awfully odd sort of bug to fester uncorrected for months like this.
If it helps at all...
From the Chrome web-dev network panel, it seems that the https://community.roku.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/user-icons URL 301-redirects to auth.web.roku.com whose response appears to do an auto-post whose result then 302-redirects to the community home page. Not helpful.
Maybe the auto-login detour is losing track of the originally requested URL?
And/or the user-icons page/URL shouldn't be redirecting an already-logged-in user to auth.web.roku.com in the first place?
LOL, I don't know anyone who's thrilled with their assigned fixed avatar. I couldn't even tell what mine was (binoculars) at first.
So it's been over three months since the first moderator responded saying they are looking into the matter. How long does an investigation to a simply misdirected link take? Is the FBI being consulted or something??
