I'm very pleased with my Roku devices.....have a Roku express since 2017 for older Toshiba TV & just bought 49" JVC smart Roku TV.....very easy set-up....lots of free channels....Sling & other streaming channels are less expensive than cable....I have good DSL service, so no satellite dish to mess with....and even if a channel isn't available with Roku, I can add the app needed.....THNX ROKU
I just wanted to say ,Roku express has done wonders for my brother. I take care of my brother with dementia, and finding something simple that will make his brain work and keep him interested has been a chore in itself, i currently have the tcl tv in my bedroom, and got to thinking, there really is no way he can mess anything up, and he has always been a big Atlantic city goer, so i decided to get a Roku express, simple remote, added a few poker games and some slots, and he is entertained all through out the day! So thank you to all at Roku for making my brothers day a little brighter and making him feel like he is still a part of this world!
Roku certainly works well for most people.
I also am one of them.
Thanks for note.
We are happy to hear that you're enjoying our products!
Happy Streaming,
Danny
Roku continues to Rock for a reason. Last report I read shows they have a commanding lead of streaming devices sold.

Effective and interesting post for reading
I have been a Roku customer for several years with no problems. Except it would be nice if Roku had a quicker solution to deleting channels in "bulk".
To the point of being nervous. Just purchased my first Roku tv. VERY happy especially after having learned that simply unplugging for 60 seconds will take care of most issues. But my first visit here, to the "Community" has me very nervous of what may come. So MANY!?! Thx for your time... Pfb~
Glad to join you!
I didn't have time to check all pages on the forum. Maybe, some advice on what useful features I can get here)
Just wanted to say, the new Roku free channel has some real gems in there. The complete Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in and a Pink Floyd documentary for starters and who doesn't 'Love Lucy'. Well done to the curators for bringing something different and for the princely sum of nothing per month. I think you'll have to be of a certain age to enjoy some of these tv wonders of the past. Perhaps, not as sophisticated as today's beautifully crafted series like Westworld. But, in these difficult times, why not just sit back and wallow in nostaligia? I have three Roku devices including a 4k version which is brilliant for Disney + and (UK) terrestrial catchup services, Now TV, Amazon, Netflix and access to my digital movies through Googleplay. Best money I've ever spent on my tvs. Stay safe as you take a journey through this tv time tunnel.
I am a new customer, I want to thank all for free movies and shows throughout this pandemic. If I did not have access to all the HBO, Showtime, and all other movies. I would be pulling my hair out.
Thanks, Roku
