Half screen sexualized drag queen & cross dressing adds on the "Roku Home Menu"

*This is a 100% factual review Roku! if this gets Removed for the Third Time, ill put it rite back Roku. Its just a copy and paste for me.

*If you don't like the truth, fix your programing Roku.

Unbelievable this would be aloud on the "ROKU HOME MENU" page.

The Roku has never had any adult channels to add nor any adult shows being pushed on the Roku Home Menu rite next to our family channel icons with huge near half screen adds with men in skimpy women's cloths & sexual tittles like Kink that cannot be removed. Even the family friendly Roku Channel is pushing Out Tv on our Home Page with dudes in women's cloths. Not cool Roku.

I get LGBTQ wants to be included but why do all the shows have to be sexualized if its just about being included Roku? Are they incapable of making regular programing? I see no other adult programing being pushed at all so this is completely uncalled for & not okay to have these huge adds on the Roku Home Page rite next to children and family friendly icons that we choose to add to our own menu. Forcing this kind of content on a family device is wrong.

For several nights now there were no adult adds whatsoever through the late late night. At 6AM when our kids decided to watch cartoons suddenly the cross dressing & drag queen adds were back rite in time for a cartoon morning. This is getting ridiculous and your going to loose a lot of customers.

It should be a choice for family's to have adult shows and tittles on the Roku Home Screen, NOT FORCED. I have had 3 Roku's for about three years now and this has never happened before. Many Many adds but none adult themed or adult titled, I have never even seen a woman in skimpy cloths on the Roku Home Menu. L G B T & Q are categories on porn sites because they are sexual preferences. This shouldn't be forced on the Roku Home Menu.

Are you going to advertise and push straight sexual content adds on Roku Channels Out TV????? Nope you sure wont "because there are no other sexual channels on the Roku" And that says it all...

Not Cool Roku.

Why would I waste my time here otherwise?. I own 3 rokus and that's what this forum is for. Posting issues is far from spam. If you don't like it. Don't read it. I'll continue to post as long as these are on every day.

This mornings adds are disguised to look like fun kids shows on the home page.

That's a fun looking kids font.

And the one above it resembles the old educational reading rainbow kids show that was on PBS.

The description to that one is.

Explore the world of BDSM In OUTspoken KINK. Featuring rubber, latex, leather, sissy play, puppy play and more.

This channel is being advertised on the Roku home page. Now tell me latex leather puppy sissy play isn't sexual content... And tell me naked dudes kissing and going gay for cash isn't sexual content. The two on the left are getting BJs!

If you want more pictures feel free to ask. There is plenty more.

@RealMusician  That is NOT your Roku Home Screen. This is a Roku Home Screen. The only way you are seeing that is by actually searching for it. It does not automatically pop up. Again you are NOT seeing that on your Roku home screen. You are also need seeing it on the Roku channel by default. The only way you are seeing that is searching for gay or lesbian movies or shows. The Trixie Motel show is not violating FCC rules. And there is nothing wrong with it.  Roku-Capture-Screen-Shot-3-21-22-12.39-PM.png

Re: Half screen sexualized drag queen & cross dressing adds on the "Roku Home Menu"

@RealMusician  There is nothing wrong with the Discovery+ shows being promoted. Nothing. As far as the other things every stop to think how they got there? All smart devices learn to your likings. If you search for "kitchen faucets" on Google then before you know it you see ads for kitchen faucets. Either on your phone or computer. If someone searched for "gay or lesbian" movies or shows on Roku then Roku thinks that is what you maybe looking for. But it does NOT happen on it's own. The Gay men kissing is cause you searched for it purposely. It did not magically appear on the Roku Channel. You are also confusing yourself between the Roku home screen and the Roku channel. Show me an entire picture of the Roku Channel when you open it. I have been using Roku for 10 years and never once saw anything of the sort. Are you finding this under "recommended for you"? You are purposely searching for gay or lesbian movies or shows. The pictures you uploaded point that out.

Re: Half screen sexualized drag queen & cross dressing adds on the "Roku Home Menu"

As I said in my first post. Out TV. Is being advertised on the home screen with cross dressers and these shows are on Out TV if the add is clicked.

An add for Out TV if clicked by a kid would show Gay For Cash that has an image that is intended to give the impression of men giving each other bjs for money. If you consider that kid click friendly then I don't know what to tell you.

The Kink show was on the home screen a few days ago. When you click it and get a description for BDSM sissy puppy play, it's sexual content. And shouldn't be on the home menu for a kid to click it either.

Any one of any age can click these adds with out concent.

Why not Trixy Hotel?

You do know motels are known for hourly rates & quickys rite.

Every show has to imply something sexual somehow in someway it seems.

Now it's your turn to defend it all and argue more. Yaaaay.

Your not reading my posts. I'm talking about the adds on the home screen and what you see if an add is clicked.

Kids can click these with ease.

You guys are funny.

Re: Half screen sexualized drag queen & cross dressing adds on the "Roku Home Menu"

@RealMusician  There are NO inappropriate "ads" being shown on your Roku Home Screen. None. The only Home Screen thing you posted was for Discover+ promoting there TV shows  "Trixie Motel", "the book of queer" and "Always proud". Discovery paid Roku to promote those shows on the Roku Home Screen. Amazon and Hulu do the same. There is NOTHING wrong or violating any FCC rules with those shows. Roku does not currently have a child profile feature. Anyone can use a Roku regardless of ago. That is how it is. You can however put a PIN lock on installing channels. So even if your children try to click on the Discovery+ promotion they cannot actually install it. Unless you have Discovery+ all ready installed. Don't have your children use the Roku. If you want a kids profile friendly device they look elsewhere. Remember you are in control of how you watch TV and how your children access it.
