@boogernoseThank you for the reply. Unfortunately I'm not subscribed to YouTube TV. I'll keep trying.
You dont need to be a subscriber just install them side by side and see what happens.
Oh okay, didn't know that. I will give it a try soon. Right now I'm recovering from a surgery, at 61 I am a bit slow going right now. 😞 Thank you!
I'm 63 and understand fully what you're going through with your surgery. I had mine just a few years ago. I did not need something like this occurring during such a time.
Before I bought my Roku devices, I bought a Chromecast. The Chromecast's shortcomings (mainly the lack of space for my selected channel apps) prompted me to buy the first Roku. I still have my original Chromecast and use it from time to time-especially when the Roku devices give me trouble for whatever reason.
When you buy your own Chromecast, I'm sure you will use both devices similar to how I do so now. In case you are not aware of this, Roku might get some real competition when Google's Code Name Sabrina makes it to market later this year. What is known is that this new updated Chromecast-like Android TV device appears to address present Chromecast weakenesses like lack of a remote or app storage into something akin to Amazon & Roku's layouts. We will see.
For me, I plan to buy one when it's available for purchase. I want to-finally-upgrade the Chromecast I have now. I already bought 2 Roku Streaming Stick Pluses and a Roku Ultra to update the older original plain old Streaming Sticks. You can own and enjoy both companies's offerings. It's all up to you.

Time to buy Roku stock.
I was just out of town and stayed at many different Hotel/Motels.
My God cable is beyond awful. Spectrum/DirectTV...... BARF!!!!! PATOOIE!
So much more available on ROKU...I believe the Net is the future and streaming
services are a natural fit.

We'll see if that actually happens. Don't believe everything you hear! Until it officially appears on the news page of roku.com, don't believe it!
