During the National Emergency several streaming companies have stepped up. And they offered either completely Free Service or Extended their Free Trials, while millions are at home from work riding out this crisis.

Fox -  has made their News Channel Free 24/7 No Cable or Credit Card Needed to watch.

NBA - Season Pass is FREE

NFL - Game Pass is Free

Sling - ABC News 24/7 Free and Limited On Demand Content also Free

Acorn TV - Free 30/day Trial use CODE: FREE30 at sign-up

Shudder TV - Horror Channel Free TRIAL extended to 3o/days use Code: SHUTIN at sign-up

Locast - Waives Donation Nag screen for 30/days if you email admin@locast.org

Kanopy and Hoopla - Both extended the amount of titles you can stream with your library card in a month.

Roku is my favorite streamer, mkvXstream.com has my favorite Roku channels

I could not find a place to enter the code when trying to subscribe to 30-day free trial of Acorn, so it looks like Roku only gave me the 7-day free trial.

@joyce9 Thanks for the note. In order to redeem these types of special offers, we recommend contacting the channel/service provider directly, or visiting their website for more information or to sign up directly.

If you choose to sign up directly through the service provider, you can then simply log into a channel using the account you create.

 I had tried reaching out to the support. But it was not of much help. The support never replied me back!

I have recently "cut the cord" and signed up for one of the streaming services that carries Fox News.  If Fox News will be free for an extended period, I no longer need that extra streaming service - at least for a while.

Does anyone know how long Fox News will be free?
