Re: Is there a place to re-sell my Roku 3 Streaming Player (4230X1)? We no longer use it.
Ebay or Craigslist are about the only two available nationwide. But to be honest it's worth next to nothing. The 4230 was released in April 2015, doesn't support 4K/HDR, and is under-powered compared to newer players. Some people might be interested simply because it has an Ethernet port, but it's unlikely you could sell it for more than $15. The newest Roku or Fire TV players are simply so much more capable, and don't cost that much more.
But if you do sell, dispose or give it away, make sure you do a hard factory reset to wipe your data from the device. And go into your Roku account on the web site and remove the device from your account.
