ATT has been planning this for months. Log into this website with your primary ATT account, you should be able to view your data usage and limits. http://www.att.com/esupport/internet/us ... Pb2b3R-DKz

i heard from someone who uses AT&T that some older accounts are grandfathered in. i'm not sure of the details, AT&T is being pretty closemouthed about them.

Re: CAPS!!!! Overusage with AT &T

I believe that there is a difference between ATT's standard DSL service and their "U Verse" service. It's their standard DSL service that is being capped.

Re: CAPS!!!! Overusage with AT &T

According to forum entries elsewhere, there's problems with tracking bandwidth for UVerse, specifically separating out the AT & T streams from other streams. Of course, by doing this, AT & T is also opening itself up for a lawsuit.

I don't have the usage meter and I'm DSL, but I'm managed under UVerse because I'm DSL only, not DSL and phone.

Until we have access to a usage meter, our bandwidth isn't being capped. So I'm just ignoring anything to do with caps for now.

You awakened an 8 year old post to give some dubious e-mail links?

I reported that spam post last night, but Tanner hasn't got around to removing them.

Wonder how many employees they need before we get post/comment moderation.

They've previously expressed why moderation for first-time posters isn't workable: new users have an issue, post, then get their help. If moderated, they'll sit even longer before getting help. Put yourself in those users' shoes.

Essentially, there's no good answer, as long as Roku has a single person moderating, is running the current version of the software, and doesn't have better filters in place.
