Not sure if this is anything I can address and I have noted this on other channels (Paramount+, Prime, etc.) on occasion but when looking through Disney's titles by genre (comedy, thriller, etc.) recently A-Z at various times when I click on a title to read more about it or even see a trailer and then when I return to the main screen the image may refresh and I lose my place as I'm now at the top of the screen. This is very irritating and pointless in my view. Is there any way to prevent this? Also, why does this have to happen? It drives me nuts at times and will add time to my overall browsing.
If the issue persists, we recommend you contact the App provider for further assistance.
My apologies. I forgot to mention that I did remember to see if there were any updates for the app and there were not. I didn't think to do a restart afterwards in this instance. Do you think it worth doing now? By app provider in this case do you mean, Disney+?
Has anyone else ever reported this? Can you hazard a guess as to why this happens on occasion? I could see the refresh occurring once if the site/app was uploading or updating their library at the same time but I have my doubts about it happening multiple times.
Hi @HTNUT323,
Thank you for your response!
We recommend restarting your Roku device to refresh it. Regarding the app provider mentioned by our Roku moderator, it refers to the Disney Plus app provider.
We hope to get this sorted out soon.
Cheers,
