I went home Friday and deleted a couple of the apps on my Roku and then refreshed the Hulu app and it started working. Don't know if this coincided with anything Roku had done, bit it started working. Worth a shot. I got rid of Sling first.
Please assist - I've looked all over Roku Community, tried multiple fixes with no luck:

I see this error whenever I try to open an app on my roku. I deleted extra channels - several ...how do I refresh FRNDLY channel? I tried removing it and then adding it back and it still doesn't run. I have tried to update Roku and it doesn't work. Over the last week, I have tried everything that has been suggested. Error message still comes up and channel doesn't run
A few days ago, I experienced the message,” could not be run because it could not be reinstalled from network” on the apps for our ELEMENT TV.
We switched over to using our PHILIPS TV, but starting today it too is now giving us the same problem.
I have checked the network, reset the network, did a network connection reset, completed software update, tried deleting a few apps and adding them (now cannot even add them back) and even completed Factory reset on the Element.
The only common event with both TVs is the Roku Speakers. This issue occurred on the Element a few days after we installed the speakers. We installed the speakers on the Philips yesterday and today we started having the same issue.
Just want to let everyone know, they are working on it. I got mine back Monday. Mary was the one that reached out to me to confirm. So I think as they get the info they have requested in link they are getting it resolved. I tried everything like others nothing worked. It was a few days but success Monday so I'm sure they will be contacting all and getting it fixed ❤
