Youtube / Youtube TV glitchy on Roku Streaming Stick

I have a Roku Streaming Stick purchased less than 2 years ago. Now I'm encountering the consistent issue of Youtube app taking forever to launch. Once it does, Youtube TV completely fails to launch.

On the same TV, I tried a Roku Express and it works flawlessly (both Youtube app and Youtube TV)

Is there a solution, short of buying another Stick to see if it works?

Thanks for the post.

What specific model Roku streaming stick are you using? Have you tried removing the Youtube channel restarting the device, then adding the channel back again to see if that helps the issue you are experiencing? Please DO NOT REMOVE the Youtube TV channel.
