There were multiple posts according to time stamps on them that the issue had been resolved prior to mine doing it this morning. I went through all the steps and it still is not working.
MY message *** YOUTUBETV could not be run because there is not enough space. please remove 1 or more channels & try again. yadda yadda yadda I removed 6 or 7 and it didn't change . I updated and unplugged. nothing changed.
So why am I still getting the message it is fixed?
YouTube and YouTube TV are not the same thing. You can remove and reinstall YouTube. You cannot remove and reinstall YouTube TV.
The recent issue was with YouTube not working. That's what has been resolved.
Even though the apps are not the same thing, you can use the YouTube app to watch YouTube TV. On the menu on the left, at the bottom, is a link for YouTube TV. Since you removed the YouTube TV app, you'll have to use that link.

Unfortunately their fix is really just a workaround (they removed a new very large middleware app that was the indirect source of the latest memory increase - the real fix involves improvement memory management especially for the 512MB models and would require competent coding and a new firmware release).
Try restoring the default theme: Settings/Theme/Restore default theme - try again
And use a simple screensaver: Settings/Theme/Screensavers/Roku digital clock/Set as screensaver - try again
@Danny-R You are representing that the YouTubeTV issue is resolved, when it is not. We all know by now to update but it is still not working. The only solution thus far is to broadcast from my phone to the TV, which is not conducive. Did you know also that YouTubeTV app doesn't populate in the search function? I removed the app to later reinstall, but now it's gone entirely and isn't an option to add back. Can you give it to us straight please? Are you going to reimburse us YouTubeTV subscribers for not being able to access the app on your platform? Get it together Roku!
As of right now (9/16/21 - 11:46am EDT) YouTube is working on all my Rokus, a 3810x and two 3800x. I followed the instructions to go to 'system update', then 'check now' and YouTube worked fine after doing that.
I am extremely frustrated and did the same thing. I uninstalled YouTubeTV because it was not working and can not locate the app in the search. Will YouTubeTV be restored?
Same Here!
NEW Roku device does not access this channel/app I have You Tube Tv on all 3 other devices
workaround?

Both YoutubeTV and YT stop working today on my Rokus. Got the "Can't load channel" message. I have Firesticks on my TVs so I will switch and NEVER BUY ANOTHER ROKU PRODUCT.
