Could you tell us more about your concern? Do you receive an error code or message? Have you checked the other channels installed on your Roku device if they are all experiencing the same issue?

My YouTube app wont load. I keep getting YouTube could not be run because it could not be reinstalled from the network. Please check your network connection and try again. I have reset it several times. I have also removed channel and added channel several times. I have checked my router and have checked for updates. I can watch on my computer or phone but it is kinda annoying that it doesn't run on my TV. All other channels work just fine. My model number is  3930 RW - Roku Express and my serial number is X00400KFWMNS

The alert reads;  heading; Can’t run channel

body of alert;  YouTube could not be run because it could not be reinstalled from the network. Please check your network connection and try again.

A highlighted prompt ‘ Check network’, does not work. 
‘My other channel apps work.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the posts and your patience while we worked to resolve this issue. We have identified the cause and this issue has now been fixed.

For clarification, if you are experiencing an issue with Youtube (or other channels) that state the channel could not run because it could not be reinstalled from the network, please apply the latest fix by following the instructions below to manually check for a software update.

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  2. Scroll up or down and select Settings.
  3. Select System.
  4. Select System update.
  5. Select Check Now to manually check for update.

If you are experiencing another issue, not related to what has been described above, we would recommend creating a new post stating what the issue is in detail.

We will be closing this thread out.
