Every week I have to remove the channel and add it again for it to launch. What is happening? It's getting tiresome. I have a feeling eventually this will not work. I know Roku dropped YouTube TV I wondering if its affecting the App also
Hi @Trina611,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Kindly try to remove the channel again, update the Roku device by going to Settings > System > System update > Check now, restart your Roku device, and add back the channel.
Please try doing this and see if it helps with what you're experiencing.
Thanks,
Mary
Tried that and it didn't work for me!
I have a feeling eventually it will not work for me either. This have been an ongoing issue for me for weeks. The only thing that I can think of is to check for updates on your end whether its app or actual tv...but other than that I really don't know.
I tried deleting the channel, going to settings and checking for updates, turning off Roku and TV and then restarting, adding YouTube channel back, and it still WILL NOT load. Goes around the circle saying 'loading' and as soon as the circle hits 100%, the channel has not loaded and we're on the home screen again.
Exactly! It is a Roku problem - I have been reduced to watching TV on my phone or laptop. It is only Roku - they need to resolve their contract issues.
Hi everyone,

-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
With more information, we will be able to assist you further.

I just finished chatting with YouTube TV support. She had my change my Roku to default settings & change the theme and screen saver (under settings) to the clock. I restarted the Roku & it works! I am watching YouTube TV for the 1st time in over a week!
Thank you from me, too. . I've got youtube back, but Netflix also wasn't working, and it still isn't.
I also can open any app but not YouTube. It worked fine on 6/16/21 now it doesn’t open just bleeps as if I selected it. 6/17/21
i deleted app and reinstalled still won’t open.
