The YouTube app is also not working on my device, and I have checked for the system update. Where do we send the information that you recommended? I cannot find a customer service phone number or e-mail address for customer support. I am just redirected back to the community pages.
You Tube App Not Working
3900X - Roku Express
YG0096152411
10.0.0 build 4195-51
C33879152411
I still can't get you tube or Netflix to work on my Roku tv
If you click on a channel and nothing happens then you most likely need to do an Update as follows.....
Settings>System>Systems Update>Check Now...click.
Once the update is completed then hit Home and try the channels again.
Please fix the issue with youtube, it's one of the main reasons I bought roku. This is unacceptable!
I get the following message on all my Roku devises and Roku TV:
'YouTube' could not be run because it could not be reinstalled from network. Please check your network connection and try again.
I already check the system update (is already up to date)
I uninstalled YouTube and reinstalled (I get same message as above)
I can use all other apps Hulu, Disney+, NetFlix, ESPN, basically all my other apps work fine on all my devises.
My Roku TV is:
Roku TV 5110X
TCL Model 40FS3800
Software 10.0.0 Build 4195-08
I also have 2 Roku Express and the same problem
My youtubetv is not working on my roku. If I Uninstall it I will not be able to get it back. What should I do?
Try going through regular Youtube app, scroll down to the bottom and sign into youtube tv from there and see if it works.
Getting the same here on my Roku Express devices (but not on my Roku 3's). Before using YouTube I have to search for an update, update done and away we go... But daily, sometimes twice daily updates..... Really?
Come on Roku.
My name is William Larson and I have two streaming sticks. On each one of those streaming sticks, I have had five occasions when the YouTube app stopped working in which I had to either put in both my user and password for Google and/or on most occasions, had to remove the app, shut down the TV, remove the streaming stick from my TV, turn the TV back on, put the streaming stick back in, add YouTube back onto the Roku device and then put in the user and password again. I have not had problems with any other app, so perhaps it's not just a problem with the streaming stick and Roku, but perhaps Google and your problem with your negotiations with them is screwing with your app and your Roku customers. The following is the information on each of my two streaming sticks. By the way I have checked to update the version, but none of required an pdate. This has become major pain in the **bleep**.
