YouTube channel will not load. I have checked for internet connection, uninstalled and reinstalled

My YouTube Channel will not load.  I have checked for system updates, connection,  uninstalled and reinstalled the channel and it will not load.

When you uninstalled and reinstalled it did you restart your Roku after uninstalling and before reinstalling?  If not, try it again, but this time after uninstalling it restart your Roku from Settings->System->System restart (System restart is under the Power settings for a RokuTV) and then install the channel again.

I tried to reinstall, restart and reload the you tube app and I still cannot get You tube to load and now my apple TV will also not load.

All of the sudden last night my YouTube TV & YouTube apps quit loading on my Roku TV saying "not enough space".  I tried all the usual suggestions (update, removed unused apps, etc) to no avail.  I finally found a solution on www.streamersworld.com that solved this issue.  Turns out the cache needed to be emptied.  Here's how:

On the Roku remote do the following:

Hit HOME key 5 times

UP one time

REWIND two times

FAST FORWARD two times

If done correctly, the screen will go black after a few seconds. Wait a few minutes and Roku will restart. Mine worked after that.
