YouTube channel cutting off edges of videos where the aspect ratio has been changed

Jump to solution

On YouTube's website, I edited my uploaded videos to change the aspect ratio to 4:3 because some videos appeared stretched. When viewing the video on Google Chrome (windows 10), Samsung TV's, Xbox, etc... it works fine, but when I view the video on my Roku Streaming Stick, the left and right sides of the video are cut off a bit and does not display as it should. I posted a couple of pictures. Notice the lettering on top being cut off on the Roku Stick.Chrome Windows 10 (Correct)Chrome Windows 10 (Correct)Roku Streaming Stick (incorrect)Roku Streaming Stick (incorrect)

Hi @Rukawa_Shohoku,

Saw your post.

For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

You can reach them here: https://support.google.com/youtube/?hl=en#topic=9257498

Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!

Thanks,

Mary
