You lose this battle Roku! I'll have my Roku player replaced by tomorrow! And how about that super sketchy email they sent out??? What was that about? Firesticks are about to be sold out so you better get in early! 😉
YouTubeTV was open to chat, so I did. I asked why. They said it's ROKU and not them. Apparently ROKU raised the price to Google for their new contract period. So, they blame each other, and we get to suffer. Since they can't get along, I'll just stop supporting either of them with my purchases and subscriptions. AT&T offers all the channels that YouTubeTV does, at the same price. The only difference I can see is that YouTube has unlimited use of cloud storage and AT&T only allows 500 GBs. No big deal. I can manage with less storage. Let's all let both of them know we are tired of billion dollar companies being run by bean-counters who try to squeeze every cent out of their customers. When does a company make so much money that they can just simply provide good service and get by on the few billion they earn every year?

OK...JUST STOP SCREAMING!
I use YouTube TV. If Roku doesn't keep their contract with YouTube TV, then I'm cancelling Roku and switching to Android TV for all my televisions. That would be a huge shame if they couldn't make this deal work out.
I just got an email from Youtube TV saying my $500 Roku TV that is less than a year old isn't going to carry the Youtube TV app anymore because they can't reach any agreement with Roku. The box the TV came in literally said I could watch Youtube TV on it. It's the only reason I got it. What the **bleep** is going on here Roku??
Roku needs to stop their demands to content providers/distributors. There are substitutes to Roku which is where I will be moving vs difficulty of moving away from YouTube TV & other apps they are not willing to partner with. Roku should provide refunds to customers after they omit providers as YouTube TV is the only reason I bought 5 Roku devices in my home.

That's not accurate, at least according to Roku. They state there were no changes in their pricing offer.
Please renew the YouTube TV deal.
This is a deal breaker for most of us.
I agree. It is ridiculous that you all don't understand that we, the paying customers, are those that suffer. If Roku doesn't sign the deal with YouTube TV, then i'm done with Roku. I have 6 Roku devices in my 2 homes and have recommended Roku to many others, IN COMBINATION WITH YouTube TV. Either you play nice, or I'm out and will switch to Android TV.
Seriously? I just encouraged my friend to get YouTube TV, 2 new TV’s with Roku and a new Roku device only to find out you will no longer be working with YouTube TV. I have 8 Roku devices in my home that I use for YouTube TV. Will an agreement be made or do I need to remove and replace my Roku devices?
