Not sure how or why but I am now able to use the Xfinity stream beta app. ****backs away slowly from TV****
Same here, Xfinity app suddenly started working after I finally gave up on it.
Here too, at the end of the day tried one more time to see if it would work (without all the reset steps) and it works. Must have been an Xfinity/Comcast problem. Would have been nice if they let us know, sent en email, etc..
As for me the same issue. I tried the app today at 9:56 am and it worked correctly. Seems to me that the tech people on one or both sides did something to fix "THEIR" problem. I agree it would be good customer service to let users know that someone was working on the problem and fixed it. I believe many of us spent hours trying to get this corrected on our end. I hope a customer service representative reads this post and learns something of value from it. Both companies have lost some credibility with me. I will be looking for alternatives since my time money and business is not locked in.
