Xfinity App Error 00287 This Video Cannot Be Played started 11/06/2022 on all Roku Devices.

The Xfinity App Stopped working on all the Roku devices we own. They went out tonight 11/6/2022. “This Video Cannot Be Played Error TVAPP-00287”. I unplugged the device and plugged it back in, this did not solve the problem. All other Apps work fine. Xfinity App has been slow in loading for about to weeks now. When will this be resolved?

Does the issue only occur on Xfinity or across other channels installed on your Roku device?

Have you tried removing the affected channel Xfinity and then re-install again? If not, we suggest starting there. In some cases, removing the affected channel and then re-installing it may help. Restart your device before re-adding the channel back in to ensure the process is successful. We recommend doing this through the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If there is no Power submenu, proceed to the next step.) > System restart.
