Would like to see QR for channel sign in

I find it extremely frustrating to have to type long URLs and series of numbers on every channel I watch about once a month, when it would be incredibly simple to just create a QR code that would pop up whenever it’s time to sign into my cable provider. Really hope to see this in the future as this is really annoying me.

I've seen some that DO include a QR in addition to a text URL.  So I suspect this is something that must be programmed into the individual channel apps by their developers.

Roku is only responsible for the Roku channel and media player. It's up to the developers who write the other channels to configure their own way of logging in.

If you’re typing the long URLs over and over, I suggest bookmarking them.  They probably change infrequently, if ever.

I second this suggestion.

For me, the one I most frequently have to re-login to is Watch TCM.  I've saved a bookmark to my phone home screen that has saved me SCADS of time and trouble.
