I currently am considering switching to TDS Fiber. They provide TDS TV+ service which is a better deal than spectrum. But after talking to the TDS rep, he stated that ROKU does not support/permit the TDS TV+ app to be downloaded. It only works on Fire Stick or Apple TV. We have multiple ROKU devices, so this is a big issue.
Why does ROKU not support TDS TV+? Are there plans in the near future to support/allow TDS TV+?
You (and the TDS rep you spoke to) have this backwards. TDS has not created a version of their app compatible with Roku and entered into a carriage agreement with Roku for it.
