Why is EPL Man U game on now through Roku.

Why is EPL Man U game now “free” on USA network through cable, but not on USA network through Roku. Need a paid subscription to direct TV to watch the game.

Why?  Because that's the way USA Network set it up.

It's not free on cable or satellite - you are paying for it as part of your cable/satellite subscription.

Like many other cable/satellite channels, USA Network only provides "free" streaming to those who are already paying for access to their content via a paid "tv provider" account.

Thanks for the reply. My point was most if not all channels I pay for through my cable subscription are available through Roku. Can’t understand why USA Network would set it up that way when the vast majority of other channels do the opposite. Don’t see an advantage for USA Network denying their viewers/customers the ability to stream their channel.
